These celebrities' personalities may not be what you're expecting. Sometimes an actor is so associated with one character that the lines between fact and fiction blur, and fans expect them to be just like their famous character in real life. Other times, the celebrity has carefully cultivated an image that may not always be entirely truthful. Sometimes the meanest characters are played by the nicest people, and sometimes celebrities who become famous for their family-friendly image are anything but. (Ever seen Bob Saget's stand-up?) Let's take a look at a few celebrities who may not be who you think they are.

00:00Celebs who are nothing like they seem.
00:07In the world of celebrities, it's not always what you see is what you get.
00:11In fact, it's usually quite the opposite.
00:14Celebs are people too, and when they're not on set or in front of the camera, they're
00:18usually, you know, actual people.
00:21Here are just a few examples of celebs who've always seemed one way in the public eye, but
00:25are actually totally different.
00:28Jimmy Fallon
00:29Jay Leno's successor, Jimmy Fallon, was the right move in keeping The Tonight Show as
00:34safe as possible.
00:35But when he's not hosting The Late Night Show, Fallon seems to be not so safe after all.
00:41In 2015, the New York Post reported that Fallon is actually a pretty heavy drinker.
00:46He suffered alcohol-induced injuries three times in a four-month span, injuries that
00:51included needing to get his hand stitched up after falling on a broken bottle of Jägermeister.
00:57On the subject of his reputation for heavy drinking, an inside source was quoted as saying,
01:02"'It's gone from being a whisper to a chatter.'"
01:06Lena Headey
01:08On Game of Thrones, Headey plays the ruthless Queen Cersei Lannister.
01:13Her character is so convincing, Thrones fans recoil from her at cast events.
01:18When Headey is out living her life, strangers routinely curse her out.
01:22Meanwhile, Headey is truly a delightful lady.
01:26She's hilarious and humble, her kids seem lovely too.
01:29But if you truly need a reason to hate the real Headey, here's one.
01:33She told Conan O'Brien she hasn't read the Game of Thrones books.
01:384.
01:39Shame
01:40Nolan Gould
01:42Luke Dunphy on Modern Family is a few fries short of a happy meal.
01:46But in real life, Nolan Gould is a genius, literally.
01:50He's a member of Mensa, a society for smarties.
01:54Gould can talk nuclear fusion and string theory, but can also play a gullible doofus
01:58on TV.
01:59He told Ellen DeGeneres the role makes for awkward introductions.
02:04He says,
02:05"'Strangers always expect me to not be very smart.
02:07They talk slow.'"
02:09Gould finished high school at 13 while acting on an award-winning show.
02:13So what are you doing with your life?
02:155.
02:16Steve Buscemi
02:18On screen, Steve Buscemi's played murderers, gangsters, addicts, and bums.
02:23Off screen, he's a blue-collar guy from Brooklyn.
02:26Before his acting career heated up, Buscemi worked as a firefighter for Little Italy's
02:30Engine 55.
02:32The day after the September 11th terror attacks, he went to Ground Zero in his old gear to
02:37join his former team.
02:38He worked long shifts for nearly a week, clearing rubble and searching for survivors.
02:44Buscemi never boasted about his volunteerism.
02:46It was fellow firefighters who revealed what he'd done.
02:494.
02:50Andrew Lincoln
02:51We've watched Rick Grimes battle zombies on The Walking Dead.
02:55He's tough, tormented, and decidedly Southern.
02:59So Southern that his pronunciation of Carl, the name of his on-screen son, fueled a slew
03:03of memes about Rick and Coral.
03:14Maybe that's why it still shocks us when we hear Andrew Lincoln's authentic British accent
03:18in interviews.
03:19Do you know the guy's last name isn't even Lincoln?
03:30It's Clutterbuck.
03:31Clutterbuck.
03:32That name belongs at Hogwarts, not in a post-apocalyptic USA.
