with Christmas being over and with the New Year upon us, I present to you something from our Childhood and those who are from the United Kingdom as well. this is the Snowman based on Raymond Brigg's book of the same name!
and those who don't know including me this tape was part of the Children's Circle print and I still remember picking out Children's Circle VHS tapes at my local Library back then and I still do remember most of these tapes! (not to mention The Snowman was probably the first Silent Movie I've experienced, although The Artist (2011) pays tribute to the classic silent movies and the golden age of Hollywood in which I have not seen this yet!)
"Overjoyed when his snowman comes to life, a young boy invites the snowman home, and in return, they fly hand in hand above beautiful cities and strange lands. Muted pastels coupled with an exquisite orchestral score make this non-verbal winter tale an experience for all seasons."
