00:25the second part of the live testing was conducted for the trust build of the EMS office of the Commission of Elections.
00:38The live testing of the production mode that will be used for ballot printing was conducted today.
00:43The production mode is one of the final steps of the election management system or EMS testing.
00:48This was followed by the live EMS testing of the local or development mode of the EMS on December 23.
00:55The international partner ProVNV of the USA showed the encoding of the source code to generate the trust build
01:04and will be sent to the Philippines for certification from the Central Bank of the Philippines in January.
01:09On January 4, the live EMS production mode and the certification process were conducted.
01:15The IT experts who attended the live testing said that there will be a demonstration of the hash code verification
01:22to ensure that the same hash code is still used in the elections.
01:26Comelec Commissioner Ernesto Maceda Jr. allowed the EMS live testing.
01:31The EMS live testing was conducted to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of the automated election system
01:37and to avoid any type of alterations in the ballot.
01:46Meanwhile, the printing of ballots will begin on January 6, 2025 at 1 a.m. in the National Printing Office.
