00:02You know, sometimes you go to a guy, sometimes you don't.

00:06You know, and, you know, Buddy, I've played with Buddy now for 30 games,

00:10trying to learn what makes him tick.

00:13You got to try different methods.

00:14One thing I learned from Coach Izzo about leadership, you have to lead guys.

00:18You can, if you think you're going to lead a team, you're an idiot.

00:22You have to lead guys that make up a team.

00:26But leading someone doesn't look the same as leading the next guy.

00:30To go at Buddy the way I did, we needed that in that moment.

00:35You know, we're flat, we just turn the ball over, lock in.

00:42And that's no shot at Buddy.

00:43Mics catch everything today, but I don't care.

00:50Because anything I'll say, I'll say it right into the mic.

00:54I don't give a damn.

00:55We're 16 and 15.

00:57We don't love this.

00:58So do we just keep doing the same thing and sit back on our hands like,

01:02oh, it's going to change at some point, or do you make a change?

01:05I know what it looks like to win.

01:07I know what it takes to win.

01:09So as a leader, it's on you to figure out what it takes to help this team win.

01:14And if that's mixing it up with a guy every now and then,

01:18if that's yelling, then you do that.

01:22But don't be the guy that can't be yelled at.

01:24And I'll never be that guy.

01:25We're not dictators.

01:27Just what you say doesn't go and everyone has to listen.

01:31It's not always going to be peaches and cream,

01:33whoever thinks that are idiots.

01:34I've happened to play a lot of championship basketball,

01:37a lot of meaningful basketball.

01:40Buddy hasn't had the opportunity to play a bunch of meaningful basketball in this league.

01:45Guess what?

01:46It's our job to make sure he understand what that means.

01:50And if people don't like it, so be it.

01:53That's why they don't have four championships and I do.
