01:00We have been working in Manga since 2005 in our education department.
01:17We worked as unemployed people from 2005 to 2011.
01:24In 2011, the Punjab government gave us a regular notification.
01:31At that time, whatever was written in our orders, that we will get CSR rules.
01:36After that, we got the 5th Pay Commission, but the 6th Pay Commission was not given.
01:41And along with that, our D.A. was also frozen.
01:44And that's why we started this agitation.
01:47Why are our rights, which were given to us in our orders, being taken away from us?
01:54This government has not given it to us, but it is being taken away from us.
01:58Whatever was given to us in our previous orders, the government has started taking it away from us instead of giving it to us.
02:06And that's why our agitation is going on.
02:10Since four months, we have been sitting on the desk of the DC office.
02:15But our administration has said that none of our leaders have listened to us.
02:20We have come a long way to listen to you, but we have not even seen you.
02:22And after that, our head, Mr. Johnny Singlaji, started the agitation.
02:29And he has been sitting here for the last 8 days.
02:32The agitation with the NAL has been going on for 120 days.
02:37And today, he is sitting on the desk of Madam Jagdeep Kaur.
02:41The government has told us in the election campaign that no one has to get down.
02:47We don't have to get on the tanks.
02:49They have lost our old rights and forced us to die.
02:55You can see the pictures behind me.
02:58This is the list of people who have died while working.
03:06None of them got a single rupee benefit, nor did they get a job.
03:11We have two demands.
03:16Either the government should give us the financial benefit that it has given us since 2011.
03:21We are not asking for more than that.
03:24Either the government should give us a D.A. on the Pay Commission.
03:27The government says that we are the first ones to ask for it.
03:30We are also PP ministers.
03:31Our treasuries are empty. They say that our treasuries will remain empty.
03:34They say that they will recover the money from mining.
03:38If they recover the money, they will give it to us.
03:40If they are naked, or if they are PP ministers,
03:43then they will give us our salary in the Sikhiya Department.
03:48They should not do this.
03:50But they have kept their mouths shut.
03:54They say that they have lost more than 150 people.
03:57If someone else leaves tomorrow,
03:59I will sit like this for security.
04:02If we get this right, then we will get more.
04:06Look, when someone commits suicide,
04:09they don't do it because they want to.
04:12When the government forces them to do it,
04:14when they commit such atrocities,
04:16when they start to understand that they are already dead,
04:19then they are forced to commit suicide.
04:22They have reached that condition.
04:25Even now, when I go to school and teach children,
04:30I feel that I am already dead.
04:33I don't want to be martyred like this.
04:35I want to be martyred fighting for the government.
04:39According to me, this is a two-faced government.
04:43There is something in looking,
04:45there is something in saying,
04:47and there is something in doing.
04:49In 2022, the Sikhiya minister,
04:52on his Twitter channel,
04:54through Facebook,
04:56to further strengthen the election campaign,
04:59he has put an election in his state.
05:01He tweets and posts about it.
05:03He says that the benefits that he has,
05:06the CSR rules that he has,
05:08he will implement them.
05:10Plus, the 6th Pay Commission will be given soon.
05:13He will be given the gift of Diwali.
05:15He has celebrated Diwali.
05:17The government has not committed any crime.
05:20They have knocked on the government's door many times.
05:23They have held meetings more than 40-45 times.
05:27Often, the ministers do not meet them.
05:32They are forced to sit here and commit suicide.
05:37I am very worried.
05:39For any family,
05:41it is very painful to sit at this level.
05:46But looking at their daily condition,
05:49the way they fight with themselves,
05:52the family members say that they are with them.
05:56There is no other solution for them.
05:58It is a very sad situation.
06:00This is a district where there is no MLA.
06:03The Chief Minister is here.
06:05The Cabinet Minister is here.
06:07The Right Chief Minister is here.
06:09Aman Roda ji is here.
06:11No one has come here and asked about their condition.
06:14They have been here for 8 days.
06:16They have committed suicide.
06:18They have been here for 120 days.
06:20They are not taking any action.
