00:35a millionaire bad boy was very much like a family for a very long time at this
00:41point I'm whipped off all the time I go to Club New York we hanging out and I
00:45think we're getting ready to leave and then you hear police are questioning
00:50entertainers Sean Puffy Combs and Jennifer Lopez following a shooting at
00:54a nightclub I had nothing to do with a shooting in this club
00:58Puff couldn't handle going to jail every man for himself
01:02Puffy got acquitted and he got 10 years he was betrayed I was absolutely set up
01:09to be the fall guy one of the most difficult parts of it is watching
01:13everybody succeed you know watching 50s but I put out another album while I was
01:19he got bigger I spent 10 years in prison but I was able to move on the
01:26trajectory of shine after that change there's a time to pivot there's a time
01:31to transition and that's how I got into politics the politics just came
01:36naturally because that made me have a purpose that's a beautiful thing when
01:41somebody finds their true purpose in life
01:45this gentleman came with an aura around him and everybody was drawn to him
01:57this story is unbelievable everybody's journey is different mine was 23 years I
02:04sacrificed my career and life and family to be someone with humanity with
02:10integrity with honor
