Jack Linx Birmingham Society Serenaders - Pardon The Glove

Very little is known about this Alabama territory band. It is said they played at Birmingham's Thomas Jefferson Hotel and a few other locations. Personnel of the band included Jack Linx (cl,ss,as) dir. Coleman Sachs (c), Samuel Becker (tb), Sidney Patterson (cl,as), Seibert Traxler (cl,ts,bar), Eph Tunkle or Gilbert Davis (p), Charles Gardner (bjo,g), Frank Manning (bb), Carroll Gardner (d). This outstanding record was made in 1927.
