00:00The Department of Social Welfare and Development, Davao Region,
00:05expanded the division of assistance to families who lost their homes
00:09due to flash floods that brought unceasing rain.
00:13According to DSWD spokesperson Irene Dumblao,
00:17the coordination of DSWD-11 continues with local government units
00:22that built evacuation centers.
00:25Meanwhile, in Region 12,
00:28the ITZZ was also launched.
00:31DSWD Field Office Soksarjen also started coordinating
00:36with affected LGUs to distribute assistance.
00:39According to DSWD,
00:41they were able to receive a total of Php 86,000 relief aid
00:45to residents of Alabeltown in Sarangani.
00:49DSWD personnel are in standby mode in two regions
00:54in case disaster operations are needed this holiday season.
