07:02the bedroom. He blinked his big blue eyes and looked worriedly at Zoe. He then stared at Blaine
07:09beside him before whispering not-so-softly to her,
07:13Mommy, are you okay? Did Dr. Dexter do something to you? I heard you yelling his name. Zoe
07:21immediately wanted to find a hole in which to bury herself. Her face turned beet-red. How was
07:27she going to explain this to her son? What on earth could she tell him? Zoe glared at Blaine,
07:33who stood beside her. It was obvious he was doing his best not to laugh. Blaine went and sat on the
07:40edge of Max's bed. He took his warm little hand and said, I didn't bully Mommy just now.
07:47I was showing Mommy affection. You're still young, so you don't understand, but you'll
07:54understand when you grow up. The little guy looked at Blaine in confusion. Zoe rolled her eyes at
08:00Blaine and smacked his shoulder. Stop talking to your son about this. Daddy, Max immediately
08:08forgot what they were talking about because Mommy had said he was Dr. Dexter's son.
