Bar Hütte: Manchester’s festive karaoke offering

We popped along to visit Bar Hütte this week to test out some of the cutest karaoke huts you ever did see.

00:00Hi, welcome to Bar Hut.

00:08That's right, ahead of Christmas I went on a visit to Bar Hut.

00:12It's got two locations in the city and this time I went to the one at Campus which is

00:18in the Gay Village.

00:19It's connected to Nell's Pizza and you actually have the option of ordering Nell's Pizza from

00:24inside these little karaoke huts but we'll get into that in just a second, shall we?

00:28First of all, we'll talk about what is on offer.

00:31Now Bar Hut, as you can see, is this brilliant outdoor drinking space that comes along with

00:36a bunch of little karaoke booths.

00:38There's a massive range of drinks including the Brooklyn Stonewall IPA which is a perfect

00:44drink for the location with it being in Manchester's historic Gay Village.

00:47There's also a massive range of cocktails and boy oh boy did they treat us.

00:51Some of them with a bunch of glitter in, some of them with lots of coffee, you had quite

00:55a lot of sort of thick, creamy ones that are really perfect for keeping you warm in

00:59the winter.

01:00But the main attraction of Bar Hut is the karaoke huts.

01:04Shall we do Bruno Mars?

01:06Yes.

01:07So we let ourselves in, we didn't do Bruno Mars in the end, it was driving home for Christmas

01:12in truly festive fashion and it was genuinely such a great time.

01:17It was so much fun and so easy to sort of get caught up in the joy of it, being able

01:21to lock yourself in a little room with your mates, have a sing song and a couple of drinks

01:25is great fun.

01:26One thing I do have to say that I didn't realise at the time is that it is fairly easy to watch

01:31through these little windows at the back of the huts but the huts themselves are really

01:35well laid out, really nice, really cosy.

01:37There are heaters in there so you'll never be too cold.

01:40And honestly we spent a couple of hours here and it would have been much much easier to

01:44spend more time if we had sort of a bigger group of mates along with us.

01:47There is the option to order pizza as I said earlier, free mince pies with every hut as

01:51well and a great range of drinks.

01:53It's well worth popping along as soon as you possibly can.
