00:00I knew that I was different, that I was special, but not like this, not like this.
00:14Welcome to Mojo Plays, and today we're taking a look at 10 games that could possibly make
00:19the PS5 Pro a worthwhile investment.
00:27Before we begin, we publish new videos all week long, so be sure to subscribe to Mojo
00:31Plays and ring the bell to be notified about our latest videos.
00:36Grand Theft Auto 6
00:45For many folks, the PS5 Pro was already a worthy purchase as the long-awaited GTA 6
00:50is finally coming in 2025.
00:53With the amount of resources Rockstar pours into populating its worlds and making it feel
00:57alive, GTA 6 could definitely benefit from this mid-gen refresh.
01:09Not only will we get to play at a higher resolution, the hardware could help the game run a lot
01:13smoother than it may end up running on a base PS5.
01:17Of course, perhaps the bigger difference between base PS5 and PS5 Pro will just be in the raytracing.
01:23We'll just have to wait and see.
01:31Cyberpunk 2077
01:47With how many copies it sold, chances are you already own a copy of Cyberpunk complete
01:51with the PS5 version.
01:53Admittedly, the game already runs amazing on a base PS5 with smooth frame rates and
01:58high resolution.
01:59A PS5 Pro, on the other hand, could enhance the game even further simply by adding raytracing
02:04support.
02:14Cyberpunk is already fun to play on base, yes, but if you really want to experience
02:19the version we saw during the preview events, then the closest you'll get without buying
02:23a PC is probably going to be the PS5 Pro version.
02:26And yes, we know that CD Projekt has said there are no plans for a PS5 Pro patch, but
02:32hey, who's to say that won't change later down the road?
02:44Monster Hunter Wilds
02:55One of the biggest draws of Monster Hunter is the potential immersion.
02:59Every environment is assembled in such a way with its wildlife that they look like they
03:02could actually exist.
03:04Only problem is when the resolution and frame rate tanks, because everyone's pulling off
03:08frenetic combos and causing total devastation.
03:19A PS5 Pro could alleviate some of these technical hindrances and ensure the game is running
03:24just fine regardless of what's going on.
03:26Besides, the last thing we need is some anomaly where four bards cause Constance to stutter
03:32by jamming out mid-fight.
03:33Dragon's Dogma 2
04:00While Dragon's Dogma 2 runs just fine on base PS5, it isn't exactly Capcom's best
04:05looking game on the console.
04:06Even when the game is able to hit the higher frame rates, there are some areas that look
04:10a little less refined than others.
04:12Perhaps a PS5 Pro patch could get this game to where it really needs to be.
04:25The sooner Dragon's Dogma 2 can hit 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, that could
04:30push more copies out the door.
04:32We just hope Capcom figures it out sooner rather than later.
04:43Ghost of Yotei
04:54Sucker Punch's games have never been known to be visually demanding.
04:58Ghost of Tsushima was the most realistic game the studio has put out since the good old
05:02days of Infamous, although Ghost of Yotei might usurp its predecessor very soon.
05:07With the terrain of Mt. Yotei and Sucker Punch's love for environmental visual and audio effects,
05:12we can already expect Ghost of Yotei to be an incredibly immersive video game.
05:25The PS5 Pro's capabilities could allow for not just higher resolutions, but also a mesmerizing
05:29display of ray tracing.
05:30Here's hoping Sony will dive in with more details soon.
05:44Death Stranding 2
05:50Now, the original Death Stranding wasn't exactly the most graphically demanding game
05:54even on the PS4.
05:56We highly doubt Death Stranding 2 is going to be any more of a visual powerhouse either.
06:00However, maybe the PS5 Pro can give the game a bit more breathing room in something like
06:04draw distance.
06:10Maybe we'll get an even more diverse group of biomes to navigate with more realistic
06:15weather and terrain.
06:16It's hard to imagine what exactly might change here given what little we know about
06:20the game currently.
06:28Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater
06:41It would behoove Konami to put out a PS5 Pro patch for their shiny new Metal Gear game,
06:46especially given how long it's been since we last saw Snake.
06:49Higher resolutions and smoother framerates could help make this the triumphant return
06:53both fans and Konami have been wanting for ages, plus the PS5 Pro could give a little
07:04assistance with helping enemies appear just a bit clearer in the distance.
07:09Either way, if Metal Gear is truly coming back, it's gotta look sexy as hell, and
07:14a PS5 Pro patch would certainly get the job done.
07:28Claire Obscure Expedition 33
07:42If you haven't seen Expedition 33, this has quickly established itself as one of the
07:46most visually stunning games of the current generation, at least for the time being.
07:50And it's not just because of particle effects either, there is clearly a ton of detail in
07:55textures and animations here, and that might end up sacrificing performance on a PS5 in
08:00some capacity.
08:11With a PS5 Pro, perhaps we'll be able to enjoy Expedition 33 without any compromises
08:17no matter how brief they could be.
08:19We'll just have to wait and see when it releases in 2025.
08:33Marvel's Wolverine
08:45It's been a mystery as to why Insomniac and Sony have been so tight-lipped about their
08:49upcoming Wolverine game.
08:50Well, maybe the PS5 Pro had something to do with it.
08:53A rumor has floated around suggesting Insomniac is shooting for an M rating, and if they have
08:58some unique dismemberment animations and or physics, they might need something powerful
09:02like a PS5 Pro to get the game running perfectly.
09:06That isn't to say it won't come to base PS5, or it'll look bad on PS5 obviously,
09:10but if they want the game looking and running great, they've probably had to hold out
09:15for a bit while the PS5 Pro was getting produced.
09:21Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Sequel
09:31One of the biggest complaints about Final Fantasy VII Rebirth was how the game looked
09:35on a base PS5 when running under performance mode.
09:39Players reported blurry visuals and pop-ins, while others didn't seem to have these problems.
09:49However, even though Rebirth has vastly improved with its PS5 Pro patch, this perfectly sets
09:58up the third and final game in the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy.
10:02Square Enix has had the technology for some time now, and they'll now know how to get
10:06it to work before they're ready for launch.
10:09Hopefully.
10:10That said, we shouldn't have to worry about supposedly smeared blurry pictures in the
10:14future.
10:15Hopefully.
10:16Which game are you hoping to see receive a PS5 Pro patch?
10:30Did it make our list?
