The star of this adorable video knew exactly how to outsmart the elf this Christmas season, with her parents fully backing her up.

"The elf was going to steal my three-year-old's present, so she insisted on opening it first," the filmer, Romany, told WooGlobe. "Her little iPhone brightened up her whole night, and when she realized her face was on the lock screen, she was even more surprised!"

The little one's reaction during the entire present reveal was so endearing that even the elf couldn't muster the courage to embrace his mischievous side.
