00:00Good news to motorists! The San Miguel Corporation, or SMC, announced toll fees on its expressways will be free of charge on Christmas and New Year's Eve.
00:10Toll fees will be waived from 10pm on December 24 to 6am on December 25, and from 10pm on December 31 to 6am on January 2025.
00:21Motorists can pass free of charge on the Skyway system, Naia Expressway, South Luzon Expressway, Start Hallway, and Tarlac-Pangasinan-Lawinon Expressway.
00:31According to SMC, this is done every Christmas and New Year's Eve to help motorists get back to their families as quickly as possible.
00:39It also serves as a gesture of gratitude for the frequent use of their expressways.
