00:16This is Rod Lagusan for Sandro of Balita.
00:21The local government has a big responsibility to strengthen tourism in their respective areas.
00:27That is why it is important for the Department of Tourism to have a good coordination here.
00:32So we are here to partner with the provinces, the cities, and the municipalities
00:40in order that the Department of Tourism can provide its assistance, guidance, and partnership
00:46in crafting tourism packages that will provide a full view of the beauty, culture, heritage, and diversity of Central Luzon.
00:59The Department of Tourism has given the opportunity to the local communities,
01:05tourism stakeholders, and the community to live here.
01:08According to the Department of Tourism, Central Luzon is blessed with various natural resources,
01:12such as mountains and oceans.
01:14Aside from this, the region is rich in culture and history.
01:18This includes the continuing traditions and delicious food that is available here.
01:23Accessibility of the area is also a priority here.
01:26The existence of Clark International Airport and Subic Port.
01:30It's very, very important for us that in the crafting of national policy,
01:35and in the crafting of programs, and in the implementation of the same,
01:39we cannot leave anyone behind.
01:41So our Philippine Experience Program is our way of reaching out to our destinations all over the country.
01:49Central Luzon has 11 regions that have received the program.
01:53Tourism is even stronger in more places in the country.
01:57The lesser-known destinations in different parts of the country can be introduced here.
02:02Included in this visit is the Museo Ning Angeles in Angeles City,
02:07where the history of the city lies.
02:09Various delicious foods are also prepared here,
02:13especially the pampanga, which is the culinary capital of the Philippines.
02:17And across it, you can find the Holy Rosary Parish Church.
02:21The Clark Museum was also visited, and the famous Hot Air Balloon Show,
02:25which symbolizes the strength of the Pampangans.
02:28A love for music, and a city for you.
02:34A special visit to Alvis Farm in Santa Rita, Pampanga was also made
02:38because of the songs of the Pampangans sung here.
02:41This holiday season, it is also good not to miss
02:45going to the famous Giant Lantern Festival in San Fernando, Pampanga,
02:49because Christmas is just around the corner.
02:52In Tarlac, we visited Tarlac Provincial Capital,
02:55the heritage building of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines.

03:25And to this day, it is still visited by our fellow Filipinos.
