The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has introduced the First Philippine Polymer (FPP) Banknote Series featuring enhanced security and durability, which will be available in circulation starting the first quarter of 2025.

00:00At this point, may we invite the President for the unveiling and presentation of the first Philippine Polymer Banknote Series.
00:08He shall be assisted by Governor Remolana.
00:12In April 2022, the BSP introduced the new 1,000-peso polymer banknote with the Philippine Eagle and Sampaguita.
00:20Today, we will introduce the other three polymer banknotes,
00:24starting with the 500-peso polymer banknote, which features the Visayan Spotted Deer and an orchid called Acanthepipium mantinianum.
00:44Now, we unveil the 100-peso polymer banknote with the Palawan Peacock Pheasant and another orchid,
00:51the Ceratocentron Thessaly Eye.
01:04And finally, the 50-peso polymer banknote with the Visayan Leopard Cat and the Vidal's Lanutan.
