00:00A driver was found dead on the spot in Carambola, C5, in Taguig.

00:04A 22-wheeler collided with a motorcycle and three other vehicles.

00:09This is Bam Alegre's report.

00:15Last night at 8 p.m., a 22-wheeler dump truck collided

00:19in the southbound lane of C5 in the area of Barangay Pinagsama, Taguig.

00:23It left the vehicle from the northbound lane and drove towards the southbound lane.

00:27This is where the two SUVs and motorcycles collided.

00:31Two people were injured.

00:32The driver of this vehicle was taken to the hospital immediately.

00:35A motorcycle rider was taken to the Taguig Pateros District Hospital

00:41because he was injured in his right foot.

00:45His motorcycle was broken.

00:47He had an accident.

00:50So we immediately took him to the hospital upon arrival.

00:53Another one, the owner of the vehicle was injured.

00:58He had a sustained spinal injury.

01:02So upon arrival of the ambulance,

01:05we took him to the St. Luke's Medical Center.

01:08An AUV that had a head-on collision with a truck on the side

01:12and was stuck in the railings of the highway and trees was found dead.

01:15The driver was found dead and the rescue workers were delayed in retrieving his body.

01:19A crane and boom truck was also needed to pull the dump truck

01:23and the AUV that had a head-on collision with the truck.

01:25The traffic in C5 lasted for several hours.

01:27Several hours have passed since the accident.

01:29It's already past midnight.

01:30But the situation here is still the same.

01:32The truck is still floating.

01:34Heavy equipment is needed to remove it.

01:37The vehicle was even tied to a tree.

01:40The driver of the truck was in the custody of the Taguig Traffic Bureau

01:43and refused to give a statement in the GMA Integrated News.

01:46He was alone and without a companion.

01:48He was injured several times.

01:49He even tried to escape from the scene of the accident according to the barangay.

01:53He fell down and they stopped here.

01:57The driver got off the truck.

01:59Then maybe he was shocked or something.

02:03He went to the road.

02:05It's like he was about to escape.

02:07That's why he was chased by our men here and by the bystanders.

02:11The police will conduct an investigation on the cause of the accident.
