Residents in Hampshire have expressed their frustration over the water outage that has forced them to queue for water bottles after a fault at Southern Water's supply works.

00:00Well, it's made us quite cold. You can't put the central heating on, can you, because the
00:10boiler won't run through without the supply of water.
00:14Very unhappy. We've had to travel five miles to get water. We live near Romsey. This is
00:20our nearest collection point, so thumbs down to Southern Water.
00:23We've got no shower, no water at all. Obviously, I'm getting water. It took me an hour last
00:31night to get some. My brother's just had a baby, so obviously that's not helping either.
00:35And my elderly grandparents as well, so all affected really.
00:39You just take things for granted. You still turn on the tap and don't realise there's
00:41no water coming out.
00:42It's been a nightmare because I have two disabled children. So, yeah, we've got hardly any water
00:49pressure or anything, so we've just come to stock up and we probably will have to again
00:52over the weekend.
00:53We queued for two hours along Passfield Lane yesterday, got here and there's none left,
00:59so we've come back today to get some.
01:01Well, it's a disaster that we've been using the water from the water bar out in the garden
01:08to flush the toilets, but we've got a few bottles of fizzy water, but we haven't got
01:12anything else.
