00:00As the Democratic National Convention, DNC, unfolds,
00:04the reactions from Fox News hosts have been both sharp and critical,
00:09reflecting deep skepticism about the unity and direction of the Democratic Party.
00:14From concerns about President Biden's sudden exit from the presidential race
00:18to critiques of Kamala Harris' leadership
00:21and the controversial involvement of Planned Parenthood at the convention,
00:25these reactions offer a glimpse into the underlying tensions and challenges facing the Democrats.
00:31The fallout from Biden's exit.
00:33As President Biden unexpectedly steps aside,
00:36the mood at the DNC is anything but celebratory.
00:39In this clip, Jesse Watters captures the sense of unease
00:43as he reflects on how Biden's swift fall from grace
00:46has led to a strained and uncomfortable dynamic within the Democratic Party.
00:50You can tell him he's president, he won't know any better.
00:54Paint his house white, he'll be fine in Wilmington.
00:59But she's not getting another four years, right?
01:02No more Hamptons galas, no more expensive designer dresses,
01:06no more glowing profiles in glossy magazines.
01:09She doesn't want to go to Delaware and have to shop in Wilmington outlets.
01:13All they have is Anne Klein, Dana.
01:16Anne Klein, she's too important for Anne Klein.
01:20Biden's isolation and the Democratic divide.
01:23Continuing the discussion on Biden's departure,
01:26the next clip delves into the growing divide within the Democratic Party
01:30as key figures distance themselves from the outgoing president.
01:34The clip highlights the tension as Biden prepares to exit the stage.
01:38Elected Democrats surrounded by media in this room
01:41can't escape questions about what the party did to Biden
01:45because tonight and only tonight is about him.
01:48After his speech, he's getting out of town and he'll be thousands of miles away
01:51when Pelosi and Obama speak later this week.
01:53Here's a glimpse of the dynamic between Obama and Biden's camps.
01:57Axios reports a Biden ally got into a heated argument at Fenway
02:01when a former Obama official was gloating that Biden, quote,
02:04finally figured out he had to quit.
02:06Harris takes center stage.
02:08As the focus shifts to Kamala Harris,
02:11the challenges she faces in rallying the party behind her become evident.
02:16This clip critiques Harris's leadership
02:18and the decisions she has made since becoming the Democratic nominee.
02:23Since being named as the nominee, Kamala Harris has only made three major decisions
02:28and all three were disasters.
02:31Number one, caving to the anti-Semites in her party,
02:34she bypassed Josh Shapiro, the obvious choice for VP,
02:38and gave the job to Tim Walz, a radical left winger,
02:42who's the dream candidate if you do opposition research maybe for the GOP.
02:46The cooling enthusiasm for Biden.
02:49Jesse Watters continues his critique of the DNC,
02:52emphasizing the diminishing enthusiasm for Joe Biden within his own party.
02:57This clip illustrates the apparent disconnect
03:00between the party's public statements and the reality behind the scenes.
03:04If the party was unified, as they say they are,
03:08and Biden stepped down for the greater good of the country,
03:11as he said he did, and the last four years were worthy of Mount Rushmore,
03:16he'd be holding court in Chicago all week, soaking up the love,
03:21holding fundraisers for Harris.
03:24Hillary threw Bill a birthday party this afternoon.
03:27Biden didn't even show up.
03:29The truth is this.
03:31The Democrats don't want Biden anywhere near this convention.
03:34He's toxic.
03:36And they don't want him standing on stage with Kamala.
03:40AOC's disconnect.
03:42Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's speech at the DNC drew both praise and criticism.
03:48Dana Perino offers a sharp critique,
03:51pointing out the disconnect between AOC's rhetoric
03:54and the realities of the Biden-Harris administration,
03:57particularly in terms of their appeal to certain voter demographics.
04:01It also seemed very disconnected to reality.
04:04She was talking as if Biden and Harris hadn't been in office for the last three and a half years.
04:08She was talking about people having to go back to work because they couldn't afford things.
04:11I'm like, yeah, well, when did that happen, right?
04:14And she's talking about immigrant families starting out and how Kamala Harris is their personal.
04:18Yes, yes, we know.
04:20Yes, that's absolutely true.
04:22She also is talking about how non-college educated workers,
04:26like, well, Donald Trump has all those voters now.
04:29He has a rural vote.
04:31They are now the party of the elite.
04:33And then she said, President Trump just wants to do things for his friends on Wall Street.
04:38As far as I can tell, he doesn't have any friends on Wall Street.
04:42Harris' policy avoidance.
04:44As the focus turns to Kamala Harris,
04:47Senator Josh Hawley criticizes her for not discussing her policies in detail.
04:52He suggests that the reason behind this avoidance
04:55is that her policies are deeply unpopular with the American public,
04:59particularly regarding immigration and energy.
05:02Well, Laura, I think the reason that Kamala Harris isn't saying anything about policy
05:05is not because she doesn't have policy positions,
05:08it's because she does have them.
05:10They are excruciatingly clear and they are excruciatingly bad.
05:13Let's start with the border.
05:15She's the border czar.
05:17She's in favor of amnesty for 15 million illegals in this country who she let in.
05:22Worse than that, she is in favor of gold-plated health care for all of those illegals,
05:27and she wants it paid for with taxpayer funds.
05:29So no wonder she doesn't want to talk about her plans.
05:32No wonder she doesn't want to talk about her plans to ban gas and diesel in this country.
05:36This clip highlights Hawley's critique of Harris' handling of immigration and energy policies,
05:42which he argues are detrimental to the American people
05:45and thus avoided in public discussions.
05:48Unrest at the DNC.
05:50As tensions rise outside the convention hall,
05:53the DNC faces a wave of protests
05:57with anti-Israel sentiment fueling much of the unrest.
06:00This clip highlights the chaotic atmosphere and the strained responses from Democratic leaders,
06:06particularly Kamala Harris, as they attempt to navigate the volatile situation.
06:11Protestors are chanting Genocide Joe, you know, at Joe Biden,
06:16and branding Vice President Kamala Harris a, quote, killer.
06:21And they're threatening to, quote, bring the war home.
06:25And yet remember, Kamala Harris responded to those anti-Israel chants
06:29during her Detroit rally with Every Voice Matters,
06:32and I guess I'm in the minority, I don't think these voices matter in this way,
06:36because they are calling for the utter destruction of human beings.
06:40Planned Parenthood controversy.
06:42The involvement of Planned Parenthood at the DNC sparked significant controversy,
06:47particularly their offering of free abortions and vasectomies.
06:51In this clip, panelists discuss the implications of these actions,
06:55questioning how this aligns with broader American values and the potential impact on voters.
07:01This is ghoulish. It is not what anyone wanted.
07:06And I think part of the argument, they talk about joy for the future and optimism,
07:11deciding you're not going to have children or you're going to have a vasectomy
07:16and you're going to be, you're going to have abortions and you want one right now.
07:20Now that is a statement that you have no hope in the future.
07:24Seventy percent of abortions happen because of economic reasons,
07:28that instead of saying, oh my God, I can't do this because the Harris economy
07:32makes me have to work two jobs and I'm barely paying the rent,
07:36that you can say, yes, I can do this.
07:39Through these clips, the reactions of Fox News hosts to the Democratic National Convention
07:44highlight the deep divisions, concerns, and criticisms facing the Democratic Party
07:49as they navigate a pivotal moment in their political journey.
07:53Whether discussing the fallout from Biden's exit, Harris's leadership,
07:57or the controversies surrounding Planned Parenthood,
08:00these clips offer a critical perspective on the challenges and controversies defining this year's DNC.
