00:00And we're here with Claire, without an eye, here just near to Wolverhampton train station
00:07this morning, meeting a friend for coffee.
00:09But you do use the train, don't you?
00:12Oh yes, several times a week, yes.
00:14What's that for?
00:15Generally going into Birmingham for meetings, for work, or just for socialising.
00:21Do you use the trains at weekends at all?
00:23Yes, quite often.
00:24Yeah, because these strikes that have been announced are going to affect New Year's Eve
00:27and then Sundays into the new year, so that may affect yourself.
00:34How generally do you find the services between here and Birmingham?
00:38I think, unfortunately now, you come to expect delays and cancellations all the time.
00:44So we're always checking before we actually come to the train station, we check for cancellations
00:49and delays in advance, and we're always leaving earlier to allow more time, because we just
00:55know, it's just one of those things where you just know you're going to be delayed.
00:59Do you believe it's value for money, those services, what you pay?
01:03No, not currently.
01:06Is that because of the delays?
01:08Well, it's the delays, the cancellations, and then because of that you've got more people
01:13on every train, so I think for at least 80% of those journeys you're probably likely to
01:21be standing between Birmingham and Wolverhampton.
01:24And are you going to be using the trains over the festive period?
01:27Yes, we will be, yeah, we will be.
01:29I know we've got plans to go into Birmingham the weekend before the new year, so yeah,
01:34that could impact us.
01:36OK, well thanks for talking to us this morning.
01:38That's lovely, thank you.
