00:14This was the reaction of the Shum Rice Warehouse owners and millers

00:19in InterCity, San Juan, Balagtas, Bulacan

00:22after Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio announced

00:26that the Bureau of Customs will reopen and allow them to sell rice.

00:34But in an agreement,

00:36We are looking for proof of payment of duties.

00:38If they still have no income, I have no problem with their given 15 days to present.

00:43ANIA does not want to be an obstacle to the sale of cheap rice.

00:50That is why the Bureau of Customs,

00:52ANIA is the only way to monitor them

00:56while they are not yet complying with their documents.

01:01As I said, I will just monitor the output of the rice from their warehouse.

01:23from Thailand, Pakistan, and Myanmar was smuggled.

01:26The Department of Agriculture, or DA,

01:31along with several members of the House of Representatives

01:34and the President, Congressman Erwin Tulfo,

01:37immediately dialogued with them.

01:39When there was an NFA, it was controlled.

01:42Because of the NFA, you already have low support.

01:46They said that the NFA bought their rice.

01:51They are united with the President

01:54and they will sell cheap rice

01:57that can be bought for Php 40 to Php 45 in the market.

02:01Well, we need the help of Congress

02:04so that the powers of the NFA can be restored.

02:12We will discuss this with the Agria Chairman

02:17and the Senior Deputy Speaker.

02:23and discuss it with the House leaders.

02:36that will deliver cheap rice to the markets.
