00:00After a period of silence, two-time UAAP MVP Kevin Quiambao finally announced his next step in basketball career.

00:14A day after the UAAP Men's Basketball Finals, Quiambao confirmed widespread speculation that he would be heading to South Korea to begin his professional basketball journey.
00:26In a social media post, Kevin officially declared the end of his collegiate basketball career.
00:32Quiambao's post confirmed his signing with the Goyang Sonos Kaigunners.
00:37He emphasized that playing in the Korean Basketball League is the first step towards his ultimate goal which is playing in the NBA.
00:45Despite the outcome of his final game as a De La Salle Green Archer, Quiambao expressed heartfelt gratitude to his teammates, coaches, and fans.
00:55The 23-year-old marked a successful collegiate career winning two UAAP Season MVP Awards, a Men's Basketball Championship, and a Finals MVP Award.
01:06KQ is also a member of Guilas Filipinas and is considered a future star by coach Tim Cohn.
01:12Quiambao follows in the footsteps of SJ Belangel, RJ Abarientos, and Rez Abando, other collegiate stars who have successfully transitioned to the KBL.
