Han Dong-hoon, previously a staunch supporter of President Yoon Suk Yeol, has stepped down from his post as People Power Party leader after reversing his stance and calling for the president's impeachment in a second, successful vote. The reversal came after Han learned he was among those president Yoon ordered to be arrested during the Yoon's brief declaration of martial law.

00:06Han Dong-hoon was a staunch defender of the president after he attempted to impose martial law earlier this month.
00:13And he continued to support Yoon during an unsuccessful vote to impeach him.
00:17But in a dramatic move, Han reversed his stance and backed a second successful impeachment vote over the weekend.
00:24That's after it came to light that he was one of the politicians that Yoon had ordered arrested during martial law.
00:30He has since called Yoon a great threat to democracy.
