00:002 billion pesos of emergency aid has been on standby for the communities affected by the eruption of Vulcan Canlaon, according to the DSWD.
00:10There are more than 90 million pesos of standby funds in their central and field offices,
00:17of which 1.1 billion has been allocated for family food packs and more than 800 million for other food and non-food items.
00:27The government has also agreed to stricter camp coordination and camp management
00:34for the protection of displaced persons who have safe spaces for women and children.
00:42Meanwhile, the government is conducting a rapid damage assessment
00:47to find out other interventions and possible livelihood assistance that they can share with the affected families,
00:54particularly to farmers.
