Many people today lack empathy for a wide range of animals, making videos like this incredibly impactful. It’s crucial to understand that these small creatures have their own lives, fears, and purposes in the natural world.

"I do wildlife rescue and rehabilitation," shared the filmer, Karenlynn, with WooGlobe. "I was called to help a rat trapped under someone’s deck. The deck had shifted, pinning the rat as it tried to escape.

"He was terrified and screaming. With the homeowner's help, I managed to free him unharmed, and he was released into a nearby nature preserve."

Karenlynn made an excellent point when she stated that there is a balance to nature and that every creature is important. Every life, no matter how small, matters.
