00:00I think part of the real joy in this work is such a feminine spirit of ayahuasca.
00:08You know, we can model a new way of thinking about masculinity,
00:12or what it means to be a man, honestly,
00:14because it's the balance between the divine masculine and the divine feminine.
00:19I think I saw my dad cry when my grandfather passed,
00:25and that might have been it.
00:27There wasn't space for emotion.
00:29So I definitely had some stunted emotional intelligence to communicate those emotions, for sure.
00:35So each ceremony has a different energy,
00:38even though we drink the same medicine.
00:41It's like the most amazing psychologist that you've ever met.
00:47That's the medicine.
00:49You know, people have been around me a lot,
00:51you know, have this idea of who I am and whatnot,
00:54and in these situations, you start to peel back some of those layers
00:58of who they think you are when you start getting deep and getting emotional,
01:02and I think that's what it means to be a well-balanced man,
01:05is to be able to tap into that divine feminine and be vulnerable.
