00:00Comelec announced the final of the Senatorial Aspirants in the election of 2025.

00:11But a labor group petitioned to remove the candidates from the ballot box

00:16so that the candidates will be disqualified.

00:19Comelec has yet to respond to this.

00:21It was first said that the ballot printing will be held on January 6.

00:26Cortez, Quezon City.

00:28Atom Aurelio filed a complaint against the former NTF-ELCAC spokesperson Lorraine Badoy and Jeffrey Celiz.

00:35Based on the decision, Badoy and Celiz abused the freedom of expression

00:40because of their red-tagging or nationalizing Aurelio and his former town chairperson Carol Aurelio.

00:48Badoy and Celiz were fined more than 2 million pesos.

00:53Badoy said in a statement that he will not take responsibility

00:56and that he is ready to use legal remedies until it reaches the Supreme Court.

01:01Celiz said that the decision was expected and that she is also ready to vote.

01:05They lost because of technicality and they were not able to present evidence to the court.
