00:11Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council and Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose

00:17The declaration mandates a price freeze on basic commodities across the province to combat
00:21price gouging and hoarding of goods.
00:24Alternative procurement methods will be used for emergency works, goods, or services required
00:28for disasters.
00:30The provincial government is also authorized to use its P78 million Quick Response Fund
00:34or QRF to help those affected areas.
00:37Negros Occidental Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer assures help will be sent to affected cities
00:42and towns following the declaration.
