00:04We will talk with Undersecretary Gilbert Cruz,

00:09Executive Director of the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission or PAOC.

00:18Good afternoon to all the viewers and listeners of our program.

00:22Good afternoon to all of you.

00:25We will first ask for data on how many POGO hubs have been completely shut down

00:31and how many operations are still going on based on your monitoring.

00:37As of now, we have only 20 remaining in the PAGFOR record.

00:45We are waiting for the last two to be completely shut down.

00:50But the POGOs that we are monitoring that will operate despite the pronouncement of the President,

01:01we still have more than 150 POGOs that we are monitoring.

01:08These are the ones that we are saying, the ones that came from the big POGO hub

01:13that turned into a smaller scale POGO operation.

01:19So those are the ones that we are monitoring and the others that moved to smaller resorts,

01:28condominiums, and gated houses.

01:31Those are the ones that we are still monitoring.

01:35Jusec, regarding the remaining POGOs that are operating,

01:38what are the activities of the authorities, including the PAOC,

01:43to force them to stop these operations?

01:46The directive of our good President is for everyone to help each other.

01:54This will be a whole-of-government approach, meaning all law enforcement agencies,

02:01to include DOJ, DILG, DND, SWD.

02:10To solve the problem of the remaining POGO operators.

02:16Not only the POGO workers or POGO operators that we are targeting here,

02:24but of course, the Filipinos who will be displaced, who will lose their jobs.

02:30Our President also said that our countrymen should take good care of those who will lose their jobs

02:38and make sure that they will have alternative jobs if they lose their jobs in these POGO activities.

02:50What are the updates on the news that DO Manoy is still operating

02:55some POGOs in smaller scale or guerrilla operations?

03:01Who are involved in these operations?

03:06It is true that the large POGOs that we have raided

03:12will go to the much smaller POGO operations.

03:19They will be distributed to resorts, condominiums, gated houses, subdivisions.

03:29That is what we are monitoring.

03:34Maybe after this year, starting the first week of January next year, we will operate those.

03:46What is the plan of the government on the infrastructure and buildings of the POGO hubs that will be closed?

03:53Will the government benefit from this? Or some must be demolished?

03:59No. We are looking into it to see if we can reform this.

04:05Like the building that we caught in Pasay, Metro Manila,

04:11we are actually working on it.

04:18The way house of the foreigners that we are taking,

04:23the DSWD is also using it to rescue street children here in Metro Manila.

04:32Okay. In terms of deportation, are there still those who have been arrested for your operations?

04:43There are still more. Actually, there are still more.

04:47As of now, we still have 400 who are still in our halfway house.

04:52And earlier this morning, we were deported by another bus.

05:00So, just this month alone, we were able to deport 250 foreign nationals.

05:11And there are more to come.

05:14USAG is also asking for an update on your relationship with the DSWD,

05:19with the so-called POGO babies, or the children who are being deported by foreign POGO workers.

05:26Yes. Yes. As of now, we have 24 POGO babies that we are calling.

05:33And this is supported by the people when it comes to their needs.

05:39Even the hospitalization of the children, when they are sick, we are the ones who help them.

05:46So, we have also coordinated with the DSWD so that we can give.

05:52Because that's not the only thing we can do.

05:55We can provide support when it comes to milk, pampers, and payment for rent.

06:00But of course, for the family to have a livelihood,

06:05or for them to be able to support their child's growth.

06:09So, that's what we are looking for. That's why we are coordinating with the DSWD.

06:14Do you have a message for our countrymen?

06:19Yes. In the coming days and weeks, our operation against illegal POGO workers will intensify.

06:29The rogue POGOs, the POGOs that will not be followed, but will become operational.

06:36So, we are asking for your help in providing information so that we can catch them or take action

06:49on the problems that are being caused by these POGO operations.
