00:00So I see this this note in the corner part of his desk and all I saw was McDonald's monopoly fraud.
00:08Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're looking at the wildest and most chaotic events to have
00:13ever taken place inside the Golden Arches.
00:22Child steals car to go to McDonald's. Modern problems require modern solutions.
00:29After getting a hankering for fast food, an eight-year-old decided he would treat himself
00:34and his sister to a meal at McDonald's. How did he accomplish this? By going full
00:39grand theft auto and stealing his parents' car to make the trip.
00:44He swiped the keys to the family van and drove to a nearby McDonald's with his four-year-old
00:49sister riding shotgun. Although he proved more adept than some adults by following traffic rules,
00:55witnesses still rightfully called the situation to the local police.
01:04Even though nothing had happened, had it gone completely unnoticed,
01:08there's no telling what or who he could have struck. Luckily for him, no charges were pressed
01:15and he got the burger he was craving. But we can't promise that good fortune continued after he got
01:21home. Man brings dead raccoon inside. We're not loving this. It's bad enough seeing a live animal
01:33in a restaurant. That pales in comparison to the alternative. In 2019, a San Francisco location
01:41made headlines after an unhoused man brought a deceased raccoon inside and placed it on the
01:47table. Another customer immediately began to film, capturing both the man's confusion
01:52and other patrons tracking the animal's blood around the eatery. The disgusting incident was
02:04immediately handled, with the building closing for a few hours until it could be properly
02:09disinfected and the man being evaluated for mental health issues. I'm standing at the counter
02:16and the guy comes up and he's going, help, help. Even though it was quickly dealt with,
02:21the incident still lives on today thanks to that video. It seems it won't be forgotten anytime
02:28soon. Brawl over plastic straws. While most go out of their way to avoid a fight,
02:36others seemingly look for reasons to start swinging. For one Floridian customer in 2018,
02:43that reason was not automatically being given a straw, thanks to a new rule put in place
02:49days beforehand. Rather than kindly ask for one, he immediately confronted the cashier
03:04and quickly escalated the situation by attempting to grab her. Luckily, she was able to stand her
03:10ground and get several hits in. That still didn't stop him from demanding she be fired
03:14and assaulting another employee as he left the store. He even had the gall to call the police
03:20on her, ultimately leading to his own arrest. Luigi Mangione's arrest. On December 4th, 2024,
03:32the CEO of UnitedHealthcare, Brian Thompson, was gunned down outside of the Hilton Midtown
03:37in Manhattan. After an in-depth investigation of potential suspects, the shooter was presumed
03:43to be 26-year-old Luigi Mangione, who was arrested on charges of firearm possession and forgery.
03:50And where was he found after evading his capture? Where else but McDonald's. An alert McDonald's
03:57worker notices a customer and his startling resemblance with the surveillance images.
04:02An employee at the Altoona, Pennsylvania location in which Mangione was eating spotted him
04:08and quickly reported his whereabouts to the police. From there, he was swiftly brought into
04:13custody. That's McJustice served. McDonald's monopoly scam. What started as a simple way
04:24to increase sales and offer prizes to patrons quickly spiraled into a global phenomenon.
04:30However, it almost all came crashing down in the early 2000s, thanks to an internal mistake
04:36that was heavily exploited. Jerome P. Jacobson, the chief of security for the company partnering
04:51with McDonald's for the sweepstakes, began stealing the highest earning game pieces himself,
04:57before distributing them to various members of the Italian-American mafia.
05:07He kept up the ruse throughout the 1990s, helping his accomplices steal over 24 million dollars
05:13before he was finally found out. Dozens of people were indicted as a result,
05:18with the ringleader himself serving three years behind bars at a federal prison.
05:27Topless woman goes on rampage. Everybody has bad days from time to time. While others deal
05:36with those feelings by journaling or going for a walk, others opt for more destructive ways of
05:42coping. It all started when an employee refused a woman sexual advances in the parking lot,
05:48leading her to snap. The security cameras inside the eatery caught
05:56every second of her rampage, including her tipping machines over and even eating ice cream
06:02straight out of the dispenser. Yeah, it worked that day. Even when officers arrived on the scene,
06:08she still didn't back down. She proceeded to harass them even as they were arresting her,
06:16leading to additional charges. It was eventually revealed that she had been suffering a mental
06:22health crisis and supposedly didn't remember a single thing. Pinellas Park police have
06:27charged Sandra Suarez with criminal mischief and resisting arrest. Szechuan sauce riots.
06:34Some trends blow up larger than anyone could have ever anticipated. By the time season three
06:40of Rick and Morty began, it had already built a large following of devoted fans. Yeah, I'd like
06:45to get a 10-piece McNugget and a bunch of the Szechuan sauce. So when it was revealed that a
06:50product mentioned by one of the titular characters would be making a limited time comeback,
06:55excitement was initially high. Szechuan sauce, which was initially released in 1998 to promote
07:02Mulan, made its return in 2017 and immediately became a hit. Customers crowd the counter
07:10demanding the Szechuan dipping sauce for their McNuggets. However, the excitement quickly got
07:16out of hand with hundreds of people arriving at certain locations and police officers having to
07:22come keep the peace after they ran out. It was a dual lesson in mob mentality and the importance
07:28of having enough supply to meet the demand. Mass McDonald's brawl. When going out to grab a bite
07:39to eat, witnessing a fight or violence of any kind is the last thing someone wants to deal with.
07:45Those going to the McDonald's in Barking, London could have never anticipated they would be
07:51subjected to the largest brawl in the area since 2011. While it's unknown exactly how the altercation
07:58began, it quickly grew in size, with 200 people being involved in total. Several weapons were also
08:06used, ranging from corrosive chemicals to baseball bats covered in nails. When the smoke finally
08:12cleared, 21 people had been arrested and three officers had been injured. All in all, the brutal
08:18chaotic fight lasted over six hours before finally coming to an end. Happy Meals with Extra. Walter
08:26White has nothing on her. In 2014, Shantia Davis decided to combine her day job with her underground
08:34one, by including doses of illegal substances in certain Happy Meals. She used the drive-thru
08:41window as her center of operations, where customers would use a code phrase to indicate
08:47they wanted a different kind of treat with their meal. When undercover officers eventually bought
09:01from her, they were given a box with 10 bags inside, more than enough evidence to make their
09:07arrest. Another 50 were found while she was being apprehended. When all was said and done,
09:16she was hit with five separate criminal charges. Had she not been caught, there's no telling what
09:21kind of ripple effect she could have had on others' lives. Shooting due to lack of bacon.
09:31Mindless violence occurs every day, and this is just one of many examples. It all began when
09:38a woman, Shanika Torres, ordered a bacon cheeseburger. However, when she received it,
09:44she soon realized it was missing the pork product. She returned to the restaurant to have a new one
09:49made, and when this one was also missing bacon, she snapped. A verbal fight escalated the situation,
10:01causing her to reach for her gun shortly afterward. In the heat of the moment, she pulled
10:06the trigger and thankfully missed her target. While no one was injured by the straight bullet,
10:16she was still arrested. All in all, her split second of uncontrolled emotions resulted in
10:21several years behind bars, and a ban from McDonald's as well. Before we continue,

11:0141-year-old James Huberty took aim at employees and customers alike.
11:06His rampage was extended due to the police mistakenly being sent to the wrong store.
11:16By the time they finally arrived, he'd already begun firing at anyone who dared come close to
11:22the restaurant. It wasn't until he was finally taken out that the horror ended,
11:27with a death toll of over 20 and nearly just as many injured.
