00:00As an effort to overcome the high political cost in the election, President Prabowo Subianto
00:07proposed a more efficient and non-competitive electoral system, simulating a political system
00:13like Malaysia and India, where regional leaders are elected by the DPRK.
00:18In his welcome speech at the 60th HUT of the Kulkar party on December 12, Prabowo stated
00:23that the high political cost often causes candidates in the region to lose their spirit,
00:27even if the candidates succeed in winning the election.
00:57In my opinion, we must improve our system, and we must not be ashamed to admit that the
01:12possibility of this system is too expensive.
01:19Prabowo emphasized the importance of thinking about reforming the political system to maximize
01:24the use of state budget for the welfare of the people.
01:27In his opinion, saving political costs can help build infrastructure and improve the
01:31quality of life for the people.
01:33At the 60th HUT of the Kulkar party, Prabowo also invited a number of high-ranking parties,
01:38including Puan Maharani, Zulkifli Hassan, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, and Mohamad Iskandar,
01:43to re-organize the political system for efficiency and justice for all parties.
