A SHOW STOPPING Learjet limo has been unveiled, featuring a fully-custom design that has transformed a former plane into a club on wheels. The one-of-a-kind vehicle, which cost more than $1 million to construct and can transport up to eight passengers, uses four 28-inch wheels attached to a wingless Learjet fuselage. Before it debuted in 2018, the 28-metre (42ft)-long ‘Limo-Jet’ was in the making for 12 years, and is the brainchild of designer Dan Harris and owner Frank DeAngelo. Frank told us: “We’ve had people pull over on the side of the road, and they’ll get out of the car and video tape the limo."

00:00It's like driving something I've never drove before.
00:02I mean, it's like driving the coolest semi-truck ever built.
00:06All right, get ready for takeoff.
00:11The Limojet is a Learjet fuselage that has been retrofitted into a vehicle.
00:16And it's street legal and one of the only ones on the planet.
00:19A lot of the parts that we made were custom.
00:21It's probably three or four different types of vehicles that have been married into this one.
00:25We spent well over a million dollars to get it to where it's at.
00:27It's 42 feet long.
00:29It's 11 feet 6 inches high.
00:31It's about 8 feet wide.
00:32And it's about 12,000 pounds.
00:34We integrated these flaps over here to open up.
00:36We have all the toggle switches to give it a little bit of an aircraft feel.
00:39So all the light, disco lighting, disco floor, all the exterior lighting,
00:43everything is controlled from here.
00:44Just like you would a regular aircraft.
00:46We have the big screen TV in the back with the sound system.
00:49Our ultimate goal is to build more.
00:50And we'd like to make them a unique type of experience.
00:54And I don't have any regrets.
00:55Even though it took a long time, I'm happy that we're here now.
