01:27Allah has given us this great blessing.

01:32We give alms with these hands.

01:35It is generally seen that we are careless in giving alms.

01:42We give alms with the wrong hand.

01:45Someone asks for water.

01:47We give water with the wrong hand.

01:50Someone is working with the wrong hand.

01:52Sometimes food is also eaten with the wrong hand.

01:57Sometimes we give alms with the wrong hand.

02:02Some people are left-handed.

02:05Obviously, they should eat with the right hand.

02:08They should also give alms with the right hand.

02:10But the rest of the work, for example,

02:12if they write, they do it with the left hand.

02:15Obviously, it is their compulsion.

02:17It is their habit. It is their compulsion.

02:19Viewers, we should give alms with the right hand.

02:22We should always start with the right hand.

02:26Because it is a great Sunnah.

02:29In Sahih Bukhari, Hadith no. 426,

02:35Ummul Mumineen Sayyida Ayesha r.a says,

02:40The Prophet used to like to start with the right hand in all his work.

02:51Even if he gave something to someone,

02:54he would give it with the right hand.

02:56If there were a lot of people,

02:58they would start with the right hand.

03:00And then the viewers would make an order like this.

03:02That is, starting all good and important work

03:05with the right hand is a Sunnah.

03:09As much as Ummul Mumineen say about the Prophet,

03:14that in ablution, combing, wearing shoes,

03:19he used to start with the right hand.

03:24Yes, it is so important that while leaving the mosque,

03:27the viewers should first take the left foot out,

03:31and then the right foot should be taken out.

03:35If you have taken the left foot out,

03:37and you need to wear shoes,

03:39then put your foot in the shoes,

03:41but do not put the whole foot in the shoes.

03:43After that, if you have taken the right foot out,

03:46then put the whole foot in the shoes.

03:48First, the right side is complete,

03:50then the left side, the foot,

03:54then put the whole foot in the shoes.

03:56But do not start all important work with the right hand.

04:02This is a great Sunnah and it has infinite benefits.

04:05May Allah enable us all to follow the ways of the Prophet.
