00:00Local authorities are forcing residents inside the 6-kilometer danger zone to leave the area.

00:07They are also expecting people to evacuate to low-lying areas.

00:18Now, the efforts of the Kanloon City Government are increasing,

00:21following the forced evacuation in some parts of the city near the volcano.

00:31Due to the increase in volcanic activities and possible eruption of the volcano Kanloon,

00:35the LGU carried out a mandatory evacuation of those inside the 6-kilometer danger zone.

00:41According to the Kanloon City Public Information Office,

00:44the evacuation is ongoing in five barangays near the volcano Kanloon.

00:49More than 4,200 individuals were evacuated near the 6-kilometer radius of the volcano.

00:55But according to the Kanloon Government,

00:58if everyone in the five barangays is forced to evacuate,

01:02the number of evacuees could reach up to 23,000.

01:07That is why the Kanloon City Government is preparing the remaining seven barangays

01:11to serve as evacuation centers.

01:13Family food packs from the local government and DSWD Region 7

01:19are also prepositioned to be brought to the evacuation centers.

01:22A medical service is also expected at the evacuation centers.

01:25The local government is also suspending all social gatherings in Kanloon City

01:31for this December.

01:33The Kanloon City Government also has a call.

01:37To all our fellow citizens who are inside the 6-kilometer radius permanent danger zone,

01:45we highly encourage you to evacuate as soon as possible to our evacuation centers

01:54since this is for their own good.

01:57And we also hope for those people who are hearing this right now

02:02to please include Kanloon City in their prayers.
