00:26President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. assured that the government is ready to help and support the families affected by the volcanic eruption of Candlaon.

00:49First of all, I got the report from Secretary Rex Gatchalian who landed already in Negros early this morning.

00:59DBM has already assured me that they are ready.

01:04So yes, we are ready to support the families who have been evacuated outside the 6km danger zone.

01:14It is proven, Alan, that the DSWD has already started sending family food packs to the area.

01:21As well as other needs of the affected residents.

01:24It is also moving according to the President, DNR and DOST to assess the situation.

02:41Meanwhile, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. was the first to inaugurate the Nlex Kandava III Viaduct here in Bulacan earlier.

02:48It is 5 kilometers long and is built between two bridges that connect the cities of Culilan, Bulacan and Apalit, Pampanga.

02:56This is an important addition to the Nlex network that serves as the main road and vital link between Metro Manila, Central and Northern Luzon.

03:05According to the Executive Board, this project will serve as a road for the economy of Central Luzon.

03:12It will also speed up the travel of motorists, services and products.

03:19The third viaduct enhances the capacity of this expressway, reduces congestion, ensures faster, more efficient travel.

03:28Standing as a testament to this administration's commitment to the Build Better More program,

03:34this also shows that we are building the foundation to nurture the development of our countryside.

03:41Alan, February is the next year of the target to finish this Kandava Viaduct, but it was postponed for a few months.

03:48According to the President, it was postponed because of the Christmas season.

03:52Especially, many of our countrymen will return to their provinces.
