00:30It might seem like a bit of a chore, but Rita says it can fit easily into your everyday

00:35You can really make this a way of life without too much effort.

00:36Collecting and dividing the garbage and taking it to the recycling station is no big deal.

00:37It's a matter of a few minutes every week.

00:47Eleven-year-old Faris has picked up the eco-bug too, and he waters the garden plants with

00:53Rita says it's important for parents to get the message across early on.

01:17Bringing your shopping home in a basket is just one way to cut down on waste.

01:21Or perhaps growing some vegetables or using natural fertilizer in the garden.

01:25But it's easy to do, and in the long run, it could make it easier on your wallet.
