00:00All right, we just talked about Georgia and quarterback Carson Beck.
00:06Here is the update that just came down a few minutes ago from the school.
00:12Beck suffered an elbow injury during Saturday's game.
00:15Him and his family are exploring treatment options and there is no current timetable
00:20on his return.
00:21That speaking Portuguese or translating to Portuguese, Scottie, means Carson and his
00:27family didn't like what the school doctors told him about his elbow and they're going
00:31to get some second and third opinions about his elbow is what that sounds like to me.
00:36They got problems.
00:37I mean, he's not going to play.
00:39I don't think the kids really built for big giant playoff games.
00:45I really don't.
00:46I think they're going to lose because of it.
00:49I think, you know, having this guy go down and what they're left with and their backup
00:55beyond that, nobody even knows who that is.
00:58So I think George has got problems.
01:00This might benefit Indiana and Notre Dame.
01:03Whoever gets to play them.
01:05All you have to do is get to that kid and rattle him.
01:08You know, he throws picks.
01:10We've already seen it.
01:11And then if they hit him a few times, he could be in big trouble.
01:15You know, George is loaded, but I don't, you know, what's the difference if they have all
01:19this talent on offense and the kid can't get him the ball.
01:22I think their defense is the key for Georgia staying in this playoff.
01:27I don't like their situation at quarterback at all.
01:29They got a problem.
01:31And here's Kirby yesterday talking about that problem.
01:34He probably knew yesterday what we know now about Carson Beck.
01:38I certainly think there's no good script right for losing a quarterback or having to go to
01:44your backup.
01:45There's not a great script for it.
01:46Certainly wasn't a great script last night to have to do it against number one team in
01:49the country on defense and have to do that at halftime was tough.
01:54But this situation does give you time if that's what has to happen.
01:59I mean, there is time there.
02:02But I mean, experience is so valuable and you can't really get experience in this amount
02:08of time.
02:09I wish he'd gotten more game experience up to this this point in time.
02:11There's not a lot we can do about that right now.
02:14So we're just waiting to find out more information.
02:17Yeah, they're screwed.
02:19He's right about he's right about that, because when you think about it, you're throwing the
02:24kid into his, you know, first start ever in a national quarterfinal game in the Sugar
02:30Bowl against, you know, either Notre Dame or Indiana.
02:34You know, that's that is a that is a huge spot for that kid.
02:38And their defense is damn good.
02:41But, you know, Notre Dame and Indiana both got front lines that can get after the quarterback
02:46as well.
02:47You know, they can hit the quarterback and cause problems.
02:49So something to look forward to.
02:51That's for sure.
02:52Yeah, I think the kid's in trouble.
02:54I really do.
02:55I don't think he's going to get any better than what we saw the other night.
02:59I mean, he might get 100 yards or something like that.
03:02I don't think he's going to go off and have some spectacular game.
03:05I think advantage Indiana and Notre Dame over Georgia.
