00:04It's the end of an era. I'm Tiffany Taylor for The Hollywood Reporter here in Vancouver,
00:08and we're showing you everything you missed at the final night of Taylor Swift's The Heiress Tour.
00:13Swift closed out her record-breaking Heiress Tour after 149 shows on Sunday night.
00:19It first kicked off in Glendale, Arizona back in March of 2023.
00:23We have toured the entire world with this tour. We have had so many adventures,
00:28and it's been the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense,
00:37most challenging thing I've ever done in my entire life.
00:40We've gotten to perform for over 10 million people on this tour."
00:47Ahead of Swift's final performance, her opening act, Gracie Abrams, read an emotional letter
00:52thanking the superstar singer-songwriter on behalf of Swifties everywhere.
00:56Like all of you, I've grown up with Taylor's songs, magically meeting a moment in my life
01:02that I didn't think anyone else could understand, or know, or ache, or yearn, or love, or lost.
01:10And yet she did.
01:11Swift also got emotional on stage when the crowd gave her a lengthy standing
01:15ovation after performing the Evermore track Champagne Problems.
01:31For the final surprise songs of the tour, Swift mashed up A Place in This World with
01:36New Romantics on the guitar and played a meaningful mashup of Long Live,
01:40New Year's Day, and The Manuscript on the piano, which saw her make this lyric change.
01:46The show ended with one last bow and a group hug between Swift,
01:57her dancers, and backing vocalists.
01:59After the final show, the Heiress tour made history as the first $2 billion tour.
02:05According to The New York Times, which confirmed with Swift's camp,
02:08the tour sold over $2 billion in tickets.
