00:00The Department of Tourism in Calabarzon recently recognized outstanding local government units,
00:05businesses, and organizations for their significant contributions to the region's
00:09tourism industry. Philippine Information Agency Calabarzon Main Odong has more.
00:1624 LGUs, hotels, resorts, and companies are awarded with distinction during the DOT's
00:23Philippine Tourism Awards. Given as the most prestigious citation in Philippine tourism,
00:28recipients are those who have exemplified innovation, sustainability, and inclusivity
00:34in developing tourism initiatives. The Tourism Department also gave importance to the active
00:39collaboration of LGUs and private sector in uplifting local communities,
00:44capacitate industries, and celebrate the region's rich cultural heritage.
00:58Some tourism partners expressed their gratitude for the recognition,
01:11highlighting the collaborative nature in the tourism industry.
01:28DOT assures its stakeholders that through PTA, they will continue in honoring industry players
