00:04where the volcano Kanlaon erupted after its explosive eruption.

00:10The latest update on this was broadcast live by June Veneracion, June.

00:19Mel, following the explosive eruption of the Kanlaon volcano,

00:22FIVOX recommended evacuating the residents living around it.

00:28FIVOX recommended evacuating 15 barangays within the 6-kilometer danger zone.

00:35This was done because it was feared that the eruption of the volcano Kanlaon

00:40might be followed by a stronger eruption earlier this afternoon.

00:45It was reported that the volcano Kanlaon erupted for three minutes.

00:48The eruption reached places like Bagu City, Murcia, and La Carlota City in Negros Occidental.

00:56The PDC, or Pyroclastic Density Current, reached more than 3 kilometers,

01:02which is considered the most dangerous effect of the eruption.

01:05The PDC mixes hot ash, rocks, and gas,

01:09which is very fast when it flows from the volcano's mouth.

01:13Communities were also prepared for a possible flood

01:17if there was a strong rain.

01:20The explosion that happened earlier was said to be similar to the eruption of June this year,

01:25but it was stronger.
