00:00Okay, my name is David Gray. I'm a professor in wound healing and I'm one of the
00:04exec nurse directors at Pioneer Wound Healing and Lymphoedema Centres. We're
00:08based in Sussex but we're just opening a new research centre into wounds and
00:12lymphoedema here in Inverness at the Life Sciences and Innovation Centre.
00:16Hi, I'm Professor Jenny McDonald. I'm also executive nurse director at Pioneer
00:22Wound Healing and Lymphoedema Centres. I'm super excited to open a research
00:26centre in Inverness with all the latest products and latest techniques that we
00:30can test to help patients with wounds and lymphoedema and I guess there's a
00:35there's a personal connection for me with the hospice and my family.
00:42And you're also sponsoring our calendar girls who are taking part in Catwalk for a Cause
00:46next year. What drew you to be their corporate sponsors for the event?
00:52I think for us it means it's an opportunity to actually join the community.
00:56I think I've worked here in Inverness before. Jenny has lived here and worked
00:59here and our other colleagues have also worked in Inverness so for us it's a
01:02chance to come home and to actually participate in the community and to
01:07support these incredibly brave women. I think for me it's kind of that personal
01:12connection. You know I know what it's like to be a family member of someone
01:16being cared for by the hospice and it's absolutely invaluable
01:20and I know how invaluable that is. So absolutely delighted that Pioneer can
01:24support the Catwalk.
