00:00Well, I have a guy who's actually been playing much better, so it feels kind of sad for me
00:08to put him on this list because the Carolina Panthers have been better.
00:12Are they great?
00:13No, but they're competitive.
00:14They're plucky.
00:15They're fun, dare I say.
00:17And maybe just maybe Dave Canales is starting to get through to Bryce Young and he's starting
00:22to figure out what it's like.
00:24Maybe just a couple of weeks sitting behind the red rifles, exactly what he needed because
00:27Bryce Young has been better.
00:29He's been far improved.
00:31Now he's also had some decent matchups at times or teams that didn't take them seriously,
00:37but now I think that news is out and I think teams are going to be prepared.
00:40Now they're heading to Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Eagles defense has been really
00:44good, especially over the last few weeks.
00:45Just to give you a sense, since week eight they have allowed the fewest yards per attempt,
00:50the third fewest passer rating, and the fourth fewest CPOE and success per dropback.
00:56So all those are not good news for a quarterback.
01:00And it's not good news for an offense in general.
01:01That's how good this Vic Fangio defense has played for the Eagles and the Carolina Panthers
01:05are still a team that is not in that same universe as the Eagles or the Lions or those
01:10elite teams of the NFC.
01:11So what does that mean?
01:13Tough day at the office here for Bryce Young, which could also mean a tough day at the office
01:17all the way around for Chuba Hubbard, for Xavier Leguette, for Adam Thielen, any of
01:22these other pieces that you want to get in there as well.
01:24So it's not earth shattering or groundbreaking to say, maybe you want to fade the Carolina
01:30Panthers, but over the last couple of weeks, they've been a sneaky streamer for us here
01:34on the show because they've been productive, because they've been solid and they're putting
01:38up some points.
01:39This is a much tougher matchup, Philadelphia, a very hostile environment too.
01:43So I'm going to fade the Panthers today, unfortunately, who have been a team that we have talked about
01:47covering some spreads and being in there.
01:50Maybe the Eagles don't take them seriously.
01:52It's a trap game, at least in the first half, but I don't know.
01:55I think the Eagles are starting to roll and I think they smell that one seed potentially.
01:58I think they see the Lions having some issues of their own with injuries and maybe this
02:03conference isn't quite over yet in terms of the one seed.
02:06So give me the fade today of Bryce Young, which is unfortunate, but hopefully still
02:12finishes the season strong and maybe just maybe turns out to be their franchise QB after
02:16all.
02:17All right.
02:18I like you ended it on a high note.
02:20Well done.
02:21Well done.
02:23Let's move on now to a running back that we expect to bust today.
02:26And this one may be the first one in the previous segment you said would raise some eyebrows.
02:30Let's see what this one does here.
02:32I'll track social media while you get to it.
02:34Look, Pacheco had 37% of the snaps last week.
02:38He finished with eight touches and 49 yards.
02:41But again, he's splitting with Kareem Hunt, who had more like a 46% share.
02:45I don't know if that changes this week and in which case it does limit Pacheco's upside.
02:52Now I understand it's week 14, you got a lot of injuries, a lot of buys.
02:55So yeah, I'm perfectly fine with potentially playing him anyway.
03:00But I think what you have to do is temper your expectations because he's still a running
03:05back coming off of a major leg break issue.
03:09The fact that he's back at all is kind of stunning.
03:11So I give Pacheco a lot of credit.
03:13I love the player personally.
03:15I love the talent, love the situation.
03:18I just don't know if I love it this week, because I think for the Chiefs, it's more
03:21about making sure Pacheco is brought along slowly and they have him for the playoffs,
03:24because that's all that matters.
03:25It's like the Yankees, right?
03:26Or the Patriots.
03:27You're measured by championships at a certain point in your organization.
03:31That's where the Chiefs are at.
03:32So just temper your expectations for Pacheco.
03:35But I think you're probably going to see a split that's very similar to what you saw
03:38last week.
03:39And if you do again, that's probably going to limit Pacheco's upside at the very least.
03:42All right.
03:43So with the time that we have remaining, let's stretch our legs here now and talk about a
03:47tight end.
03:48Because normally, at least last season, that was a big focus, and we really thought that
03:52there was a tide turning.
03:53And I remember we were talking off air about how it's kind of resorted back down, resolved
03:59back down to running back heavy.
04:00So having this kind of conversation about a tight end that's expected to bust today
04:04could really be beneficial.
04:06Take it away, Joe.
04:07Take us to the break.
04:08Yeah.
04:09Evan Ingram.
04:10And for me, this is one where it's really just about Mack Jones taking over a quarterback.
04:14Trevor Lawrence got hit last week, and unfortunately, he is going to be missing some time.
04:20But Mack Jones against a tough Tennessee Titans defense, that's not exactly where I want to
04:24be living.
04:25And Evan Ingram, in the consensus right now, is the tight end 10.
04:28I could see guys behind him like Will Disley, Pat Fryamuth, even Kyle Pitts, believe it
04:32or not, if he finally catches one of those red zone targets that he gets.
04:36Maybe even a Jake Ferguson or Jawan Johnson, all those guys possibly being more viable
04:40and having bigger days than what Ingram might be in store for against the Tennessee Titans.
04:45So it's just something to keep in mind here.
04:47Again, you can't start him, but if you're desperate and you're already behind, you're
04:51looking up at that board and saying, man, I need more upside, Pat Fryamuth is one who
04:55might give you a little bit more upside.
