Fourteen years after they last took the stage at Seattle's Showbox Theater, Soundgarden bandmates Kim Thayil, Matt Cameron, and Ben Shepherd are ready for a reunion. The trio will reunite as the headlining act for the 13th annual SMooCH concert to raise money for the Seattle Children's Hospital's uncompensated care fund. However, they will not be performing under the now retired name Soundgarden. With the addition of singer Shaina Shepherd for the one-night-only encore performance, the band will perform as Nudedragons, which Thayil explained to us in 2022 is an anagram for Soundgarden. Other performers will include Sebadoh, Built To Spill's Doug Martsch, and Guns N' Roses Duff McKagan. The sold out event will take place on December 14, and while tickets are no longer available for purchase, those interested can make a donation to the fund via the SMooCH website.
