00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. ordered the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation of PAG-CORP
00:06to completely shut down all POGO operations in the country before the end of the year.
00:11This is in accordance with the crimes and illegal activities committed by POGO.
00:17Details in the national news of Ryan Leziguez of PTVP.
00:22I hereby instruct PAG-CORP to wind down and cease the operations of POGOs by the end of the year.
00:29This is the brave order of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. of PAG-CORP
00:33in accordance with his third State of the Nation Address or SONA this year.
00:37This was ordered by the President after being involved in various crimes such as
00:41scams, human trafficking, money laundering, and other POGO hubs in the country.
00:47The grave abuse and disrespect to our system of laws must stop.
00:51This disorder must be stopped in our society and it must be eradicated in our country.
00:58Just a few months ago, the deportation of illegal POGOs in the country continued.
01:05Yesterday, 187 POGO workers who do not have a legal document to work in the country
01:11were deported back to China.
01:14According to PAO and Executive Director Undersecretary Gilbert Cruz,
01:18these were all POGO hubs in Lapu-Lapu City, Bamban, Porac, and Metro Manila.
01:25Along with the deportation, they were also blacklisted or will not be able to return to the Philippines.
01:31There were 191 who were to be deported yesterday,
01:35but three were left behind because of the recent cases.
01:38They will be sent back to China the next time their verification process is over.
01:44Today, 12 Indonesian nationals were sent back to Indonesia.
01:50Meanwhile, the Dolena Job Fair is being prepared for the displaced POGO workers in Laguna.
01:56This is one of the activities held at Ayala Pavilion Mall in Binan City
02:00where up to 4,000 jobs will be opened in a special job fair.
02:06Among the jobs allocated are production operator, cashier, sales clerk, and others.
