00:00In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
00:30During his reception, the British Prime Minister, the Spanish Prime Minister, revealed a strategic
00:38plan to strengthen economic and diplomatic relations between Spain and Africa.
00:44After Aleppo, the second largest city in the country, lost, the Syrian regime admits the
00:51loss of Hama, the strategic city.
00:54The energy sector in Morocco is a strategic transformation that reflects the Kingdom's
01:03ambition to strengthen its energy independence and achieve sustainable development, which
01:10strengthens Morocco's position as a pioneer in the field of clean energy.
01:17The Kingdom is directing a comprehensive reform of the National Electricity Regulatory
01:23Commission to turn it into the National Energy Regulatory Commission, which includes all
01:29components of the energy sector, a strategic step that reflects Morocco's ambition to
01:35counter global changes in the energy sector and strengthen its position as a major
01:40player in the region.
01:42The energy sector in Morocco is facing a major challenge due to its great dependence
01:49on imports, as about 90% of its energy needs are covered from abroad.
01:55With the increasing demand for energy for economic, residential and new growth, the Kingdom
02:01itself is faced with the need to introduce innovative policies to achieve energy security
02:06and the guarantee of sustainable energy supply.
02:09In this context, Morocco has adopted an advanced clean energy strategy since 2009, which aims
02:15to reduce foreign imports and diversify energy sources.
02:19This strategy includes three main pillars, clean energy security, clean energy survival
02:25and renewable energy.
02:27In terms of clean energy security, a number of initiatives have been focused on ensuring
02:34a sustainable and stable energy supply.
02:38Among them are diversifying energy sources, developing sustainable natural gas projects,
02:44building advanced imports and gas storage facilities, and establishing links with Europe
02:50and African countries to exchange energy and strengthen Morocco's position as a reliable
02:56source of energy.
02:57This, in addition to encouraging investment in energy and attracting foreign capital,
03:02is a major step in the energy sector.
03:05On the other hand, Morocco seeks to improve energy efficiency through energy efficiency,
03:10which aims to reduce energy consumption without affecting the level of production or quality
03:16of life, by reducing energy consumption by 20% by 2030 and improving energy efficiency
03:22in the most energy-consuming sectors such as industry, construction and transportation,
03:28and supporting innovation in clean technology.
03:32On the other hand, renewable energy is emerging as Morocco's investment in the future,
03:38knowing that Morocco is one of the leading countries in the world in the adoption of
03:44renewable energy as a key part of its energy strategy.
03:48Morocco's investment in this area achieves the goal of achieving more than 52% of the
03:54electricity generated from renewable energy sources by 2030, which will stimulate
04:00energy independence and reduce its dependence on fossil fuels.
04:05One of the most prominent projects in renewable energy is the Noor Solar Power Plant, which
04:12is the largest solar power plant in the world, and the Tarfaya plant, which is one of the
04:19largest wind power plants in Africa.
04:22This is being focused on huge investments to make Morocco a global center for the production
04:29and export of green and renewable hydrogen, which makes Morocco, which benefits from
04:35its important geographical location, playing a key role in supplying Europe with green
04:41energy through electricity or hydrogen.
04:44During his visit as a guest on the talk show, the Arab expert and activist in the energy
04:53sector said that the royal directives to reform the National Council for Electricity Regulation
04:59aim to speed up the establishment and governance mechanisms in the electricity sector and other
05:05energy sectors.
05:06The meeting held by His Excellency yesterday at the Bijjari Council was extremely important
05:12for several reasons.
05:13Because it was mentioned in the last royal address that it referred to the importance
05:20of the energy sector as an important pillar in speeding up the national production of energy
05:26and also in the importance of the active growth of economists in the private sector towards
05:32electricity and all sources of energy, hopefully with reason, to encourage investment.
05:38The royal address that was held following yesterday's meeting accelerated the development
05:46of the National Council for Electricity Regulation.
05:51We know that in the energy sector, the National Council for Electricity Regulation was established
06:00in 2015, but the law was not issued until 2021.
06:05It was a delay in the real establishment of the actual structure of the National Council
06:15for Electricity Regulation.
06:18The meeting held yesterday was held by His Excellency in order to speed up the establishment
06:25and governance mechanisms in the electricity sector, but also in other energy sectors,
06:31including the green hydrogen sector and the natural gas sector.
06:36Also, with reference to what the ministerial council, which was chaired by His Excellency
06:42King Mohammed VI, said in a speech to the Moroccan Kingdom to organize the World Cup
06:48of 2030 in partnership with Spain and Portugal.
06:52Dr. Zakaria Firano, Professor of Economics at the University of Mohammed V, confirmed
06:58that the world event will contribute to strengthening infrastructure and supporting economic growth.
07:03It was not an arbitrary choice, but it was part of the public policy of the state,
07:10and this vision was followed.
07:12Why?
07:13All the economic transformations that Morocco is engaged in will come between 2030 and 2040.
07:21Here, the use of the World Cup as a tool for what is called soft power will help this
07:28structural and fundamental transformation for the national economy.
07:35The choice of six regions or six parties to be the parties that benefit from the World Cup
07:42will be a direct impact on the democracy of development, whether economic development
07:48or human development.
07:51This choice was not a choice, but it was intended to be an initiative to change the so-called
07:59regional division, so that the regional division is more just when it comes to the division
08:05of wealth within Morocco.
08:07Another very important thing is that when we bring the World Cup to six parties or six
08:13regions, we bring a lot of economic changes in each region, and this is really what Morocco
08:20needs.
08:21When His Excellency confirmed yesterday in the Cabinet that all sectors should be prepared
08:28quickly, what was he talking about?
08:31He was talking about all sectors that touch human development and economic sector development,
08:37and this will transform six parties, not just six cities, it will transform them into capitals
08:45for the Kingdom's parties.
08:47Perhaps, as I said, this will open a new reading of what is called the regional division
08:55within Morocco, so that it will be more successful and more powerful when it comes to the division
09:02of investments and the reading of development, as well as the separation of isolation and
09:07the elimination of so-called regional and social outbursts.
09:11The Council of Advisers held a general meeting of the majority on the draft financial law
09:17for the coming year, and the draft law was adopted during this meeting, attended by the
09:23Minister of Finance, Nadia Ftah, and the Minister of Finance, Fawzi Al-Khjaa, along with
09:28a number of government members, supported by 46 Parliamentary Advisers in his opposition
09:34and 13 Advisers, and 4 abstained from voting.
09:37The Council had previously given a majority vote on the second part of the draft financial
09:43law, and the draft will be adopted according to the draft followed by the Council of Representatives
09:48to study and vote on it within a second reading.
09:54In the city of Dakhla, Zakaria Drewish, the State Department of the Minister of Agriculture,
10:00Marine Fisheries, Land Development, Water and Forests, in charge of Marine Fisheries,
10:05accompanied by George Pedro Morisi Dos Santos, the Minister of the Sea, with the green cap,
10:10and Ali Khalil, the Governor of Dakhla and the Golden Valley, and plans to elect the
10:15Governor to form an industrial unit specialized in the production and manufacture of fish tanks.
10:21This industrial unit is included in the strategic directions of the road map related to the
10:27Allutis strategy to strengthen the industrial fabric of the region and develop production,
10:34industry, and the valuation of marine products of added value, as well as creating wealth
10:40and job opportunities at the level of the region, in line with the high royal guidelines.
10:47We will have 8 conservation units.
10:52This is important. Why is it important?
10:54First, there is a high interest rate.
11:00The fish that is caught in Dakhla is priced.
11:04When it is priced, what does it do?
11:06It is a big investment.
11:08These 8 units are worth more than a billion dirhams.
11:13Secondly, there are job opportunities.
11:17These 8 units have created 3,500 job opportunities.
11:24This is important.
11:26We will increase the price of fish in Dakhla.
11:36Today, in Dakhla, there are 178 fish tanks.
11:42The job opportunities of these 2 units are more than 32,000.
11:52This is important.
11:54The production in Dakhla is about 35% of the industrial fabric.
12:15Today, thanks to the high royal guidelines,
12:25our regions have a high value for economic and social development.
12:35This is very important.
12:39The Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication,
12:41Mohamed Mahdi Ben Said, in Doha,
12:43said that the demonstration of Al-Zia Al-Qaftan,
12:45which was organized in Dar Al-Maghreb,
12:47embodies the power of Moroccan cultural diplomacy in its non-profit sector.
12:51Ben Said emphasized the importance of this demonstration,
12:53which was led by Princess Laila Hasna and Sheikh Al-Mayyasa bint Hamad Al-Thani,
12:58in Qatar Al-Maghreb 2024.
13:02This exceptional exhibition celebrates the legacy of Al-Qaftan
13:06and the renewal of this original Moroccan heritage in different parts of the Kingdom.
13:12When we talk about Al-Qaftan,
13:14we must talk about Morocco,
13:16about Moroccan culture and non-profit heritage.
13:18As you know, the Ministry of Culture,
13:20in coordination with the Ministry of Traditional Industries,
13:23and even with the civil society,
13:25i.e. with the workers in this field,
13:27we have a partnership with the UNESCO Institute.
13:32God willing, in the next year,
13:35we will bring non-profit heritage to the Kingdom of Morocco,
13:38even if there are attempts here and there.
13:41For example, yesterday, Al-Qaftan was an attempt in Paraguay.
13:50And, thank God, there was a confrontation by the Kingdom of Morocco
13:55and recognition by UNESCO that Al-Qaftan has one origin,
13:59which is the Kingdom of Morocco and the history of the Kingdom of Morocco.
14:03The first Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez,
14:06and the British President, Mohamed Ould Ghazwani,
14:08arrived in Madrid.
14:10During this reception, Pedro Sánchez revealed a strategic plan
14:14aimed at strengthening economic and diplomatic relations
14:18between Spain and Africa
14:20over the next three years
14:22and to develop the legal pathways for implementation.
14:25The strategic plan includes 100 measures,
14:28the most prominent of which is to strengthen the political dialogue with Africa
14:32through the opening of new embassies and consulates
14:35and the establishment of an institution
14:37that is supposed to provide academic opportunities for young Africans.
14:41It also focuses on the strategic position of professional mobility
14:44in order to set a model for immigration,
14:46which benefits everyone from the countries of origin, immigrants and destinations.
14:58Today, the opposing factions have entered Syria,
15:01a strategic port city in the middle of Syria,
15:04where they are engaged in fierce battles with the regime's forces
15:07according to the Syrian Human Rights Observatory.
15:10The observatory reported that the armed factions have entered a port city
15:13from several sides
15:15and are engaged in street wars against the regime's forces in several neighborhoods
15:19to become the second city to be advanced to in the coming days
15:23after Aleppo was completely out of control of the regime's forces.
15:28The opposing factions also announced after the entrance of Ahmad
15:32that they had expelled hundreds of prisoners from the prison of the central city.
15:39Today, Israeli media revealed suggested details
15:42to reach a truce in the Gaza Strip and end the war.
15:45According to the suggestion,
15:47the war will stop at stages that start with a ceasefire
15:50for between 45 and 60 days.
15:54During this period, the Israeli forces will withdraw from the port of Rafah
15:58and the Palestinian Authority will take over.
16:01After that, the process of releasing a number of Israeli prisoners
16:06in exchange for the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.
16:09Israeli media reported on Egyptian sources
16:12that the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel
16:16will be a test for both sides
16:19and the beginning of a permanent end to the ceasefire and the end of the war.
16:26The last Israeli raids were in the area of Kamal Adwan Hospital
16:30in the northern besieged areas
16:32for more than two months in mysterious and harsh conditions.
16:35The Israeli massacres throughout the hour in the shade and darkness
16:39and the case of the short-term displacement in its face
16:43during the two days of the Israeli occupation
16:46forced the residents of this area to completely evacuate.
16:51Those who were really trapped in the worst conditions
16:55when it comes to the use of all the tools of extermination
16:58and when the Israeli occupation army
17:01entered and left the schools and centers,
17:04the Israeli occupation
17:06chased these displaced people towards Salah al-Din
17:10and fired their guns
17:13and also the bombs were fired by the Israeli cars
17:16that this series is still following
17:19in the evacuation of this area.
17:22But there are thousands of citizens
17:24who are still in this area
17:27facing an unknown fate with hunger
17:30and the killing of the Israeli occupation.
17:32These are all forms of death
17:34that we knew and did not know
17:36about the northern besieged areas.
17:39Also in the region of Gaza
17:41within the framework of the northern areas
17:43an Israeli massacre took place
17:45in a number of houses
17:47in the area of Al-Nafq
17:49which led to the martyrdom of 25 citizens
17:51as well as the injury of dozens.
17:53In the middle region,
17:55the Israeli occupation
17:57bombed more than one area
17:59and in the eastern areas
18:01there were Israeli bombings
18:03in the framework of the areas
18:05that threatened the Israeli occupation
18:07or the residents of these areas with evacuation.
18:09These are the southern areas
18:11of Deir el-Balah
18:13and the northern areas
18:15of Khan Yunus in the south of the region.
18:17Therefore, we are talking about
18:19the Israeli bombardment
18:21and the height of the bombardment
18:23in the southern areas.
18:25The Israeli massacre
18:27devastated an entire camp
18:29in the area of Al-Mawasi
18:31which is a humanitarian area
18:33that the Israeli occupation
18:35directed to the residents
18:37of these areas.
18:39A barrel of explosives
18:41fell on the camp
18:43which led to the martyrdom
18:45of 23 citizens
18:47and the injury of others
18:49as well as the burning
18:51of dozens of tents
18:53including some of the main
18:55facilities.
18:57The Israeli warplanes
18:59bombed a group of citizens
19:01in this area
19:03which was still under Israeli occupation
19:05with the Israeli warplanes
19:07and the Israeli artillery.
19:09Therefore, a number of martyrs
19:11are killed daily
19:13as a result of the Israeli occupation.
19:15This is the political situation
19:17on a humanitarian level.
19:19The hunger deepens day by day.
19:21The day the war ended
19:23and the Israeli occupation
19:25entered the aid.
19:27However, the issue of precision
19:29and honor played a critical role
19:31in granting each family
19:33a chance to solve this crisis
19:35especially for the most important
19:37elements of life
19:39which is that the bakeries
19:41are still closed
19:43and the international kitchen
19:45is still closed
19:47due to the Israeli occupation
19:49of a ship.
19:51Thus, a number of organized
19:53employees were martyred.
19:55On a political level,
19:57these negotiations
19:59outside the Gaza Strip
20:01and on a humanitarian level,
20:03those who are martyred
20:05may be the ones
20:07waiting for these negotiations
20:09and their results.
20:11They may be watching
20:13every moment
20:15with their eyes
20:17pointing to Cairo
20:19hoping that this time
20:21this war
20:23may end.
20:25The war of mass extermination
20:27killed more than 55,000 people
20:29here in the areas
20:31and in a small area
20:33in the southern areas
20:35of Palestine.
20:37The Amnesty International
20:39accused Israel of committing
20:41a crime of mass extermination
20:43against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip
20:45opposing its hope
20:47that this report would be a warning
20:49to the international community.
20:51The organization said
20:53that it found evidence
20:55proving that Israel committed
20:57a crime of mass extermination.
20:59The report of the Amnesty International
21:01shows that Israel committed
21:03an act brought by the agreement
21:05to prevent mass extermination
21:07with a specific purpose
21:09which is to destroy Palestinians
21:11in the Gaza Strip.
