Wake Forest is celebrating its 100th anniversary throughout 2009 with a once-in-a-lifetime Centennial Celebration! The year-long celebration is designed to commemorate the wonderful history and tradition of our town.
As an important part of our Centennial Celebration, the 2009 Wake Forest Centennial Celebration Committee is pleased to offer local businesses, civic organizations, and residents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to "be a part of history" and support the 2009 Wake Forest Centennial Celebration by purchasing an engraved brick paver for $100.
Each engraved brick will become a permanent part of Centennial Plaza - located just outside the new town hall - to be viewed and enjoyed by residents and visitors for years to come. Centennial Plaza will serve as a focal point of the municipal campus and a gateway to the new town hall, which is set to be completed in the fall of 2009.
