Former Welsh snooker world champion Terry Griffiths died aged 77, leaving a sporting legacy behind that will be remembered by all.

00:07dementia, his family has confirmed.
00:11The Welshman won the 1979 World Championship as a qualifier, beating Dennis Taylor 24-16
00:18in the final.
00:19Griffiths also won the Masters in 1980 and the UK Championship in 1982 to complete snooker's
00:26triple crown.
00:28He also reached a career-high third in the world rankings and in 2007 was made an OBE
00:34for his services to the sport.
00:36Three-time world champion and fellow Welshman Williams was among the first to pay tribute
00:41on social media, describing him as a mentor, coach, friend and legend.
00:46Current world number one Judd Trump also paid tribute to Griffiths.
00:51It's a very, very sad day for the world of snooker.
00:54It's tough for the family as they have such history in the game.
