00:27Les Ateliers have been thought of as being a platform for African and non-African cinematographers.
00:37This is where they display their creativity, this is where they display their talents,
00:43and this is where they meet producers and professionals coming from all over the world.
00:50And so we thought that it was really interesting to also serve the people that are filmmakers,
00:58the people of the profession, the people of cinema.
01:01So that's why we created the Les Ateliers de la Classe,
01:04where we have producers meeting scriptwriters, directors, local producers,
01:15and where they exchange and sometimes come to really have deals about the future of what they're doing.
01:24So it's very important because it's not a marketplace,
01:27it's a really professional place where there are a lot of exchanges.

01:41It's really incredible to see how filmmakers first recognize their own emotionality and how they view the world,
01:49then how they put that into practice in terms of the structure of their stories.
01:52How are they telling these stories?
01:54It's incredibly useful for me as a filmmaker and quite selfishly I'm going to take advantage of it.

02:12Les Ateliers de la Classe is great for me.
02:15It's important for a creator, a director.
02:19It's a workshop on the development of projects because we're in the development phase,
02:25and you know that when you're designing a project,
02:28it's important to have feedback, feedback from other professionals.
02:34And that's why, since the opening of the workshop, it's been beneficial for us.
