00:00INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH ORGANIZATION ISRO has successfully launched its historic Proba-3
00:15mission on 5th December, 2024.
00:18This launch was carried out from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota via PSLV-XL
00:23rocket.
00:24In just 26 minutes of flight, the rocket has established the satellite in space.
00:31This mission is to study the depth of the corona of the sun and two satellites have
00:36been sent together in it.

00:42The PSLV-C59 rocket was launched in this mission, which was the 61st flight of this rocket.
00:49This rocket is 145.99 feet high and its weight is 320 tonnes.
00:55This rocket will establish Proba-3 satellites in the elliptical orbit of 600 x 60,530 km.
01:04The purpose of Proba-3 is to study the corona of the sun and two separate satellites have
01:10been launched for it.
01:11The coronagraph spacecraft will move towards the sun and through it, laser and visual-based
01:18targets will be decided.
01:20In this, ASP-IICS, i.e., Association of Spacecraft for Polarimetric and Imaging Investigation
01:28of Corona of the Sun and 3Ds, i.e., 3D Energetic Electron Spectrometer, will be the important

01:36It will study the gap between the outer and inner corona of the sun.
01:42The Ocleta spacecraft is 240 kg and this satellite will be behind the coronagraph and its major
01:48task is to study the data obtained from the corona using Digital Absolute Radiometer Science
01:54Experiment Instrument, i.e., DARA.
01:55The purpose of Proba-3 mission is to study the corona of the sun, i.e., the outer part
02:02of the sun.
02:03Both satellites will study the corona of the sun by rotating in a line at a distance of
02:08150 meters and this distance and speed between these satellites will help to reveal the secrets
02:15of the corona of the sun.
02:19This mission is not only a big availability for ISRO, but it will also be a very important
