Shoppers became queuing from just before eight o'clock in the morning, eagerly awaiting town mayor, Cllr Shelia Brooke, to cut the ribbon.
Spanning a sales area of 1,256m², the store features Lidl’s popular bakery, the 'Middle of Lidl' aisles and customer-friendly facilities such as baby-changing amenities, as well as ample parking for cars and bicycles.
