00:00Did you know about Alabama's secret fall? It may not be Blue Ridge, but come late October and early
00:04November, Lookout Mountain gets some stunning color. I spent a perfect fall weekend exploring
00:08the tiny towns of Menton and Fort Payne and had the best time. Here are my favorite things to do.
00:12First up, apple picking at Little River Orchard where I found my new favorite apple variety.
00:16Next, I went adventuring to see more fall foliage and scenic views at Little River Canyon National
00:20Preserve, DeSoto State Park, and along the Canyon Rim Drive. These hikes were so peaceful I could
00:25have stayed forever. I ventured to Oribex Hot Glass City to try my hand, or should I say my
00:29breath, at glassblowing. I can't wait to hang my new ornament on the tree this year. Then I spent
00:34some time strolling and shopping through downtown Fort Payne. There were tons of cute art galleries,
00:38great restaurants, some really cool murals, and one really incredible Christmas shop. I
00:42can't wait to take my next trip back to the super special corner of the world.
